Bugatti market in 2012

One may think that Bugattis are extremely scarce. A considerable number is offered though on the open market. Of course a number of cars will be sold under hand as well. (which may be as high as the number of cars shown here!)

Here Bugattis are listed that were offered for sale or have been on auction in 2012. If available asking prices or auction results are mentioned. All Bugattis are ordered by type. Where available, chassis nos. are given.

This makes a total of 57! That's 13 less than last year's 70, though many would like to not count the GP replica's and recreations. I state them here specifically, especially if they have a "chassis number", for future reference. However, with the GP's the replica's and bitsa's and doubtfull history cars now outnumber the originals!!

This year I did not re-post as many for-sale Bugattis on my site as I did in earlier years, that's why the low number, though I even collected quite a few from BugattiBuilder.com, where Uwe and Ger often post cars they see for sale elsewhere. Thanks to them!

Most of these Bugattis have been featured on the Bugatti Page, where details may be found on the Sales page, the Events page or the (old) News page.
